I have been using the Chair Dancing tapes
since the very first one. I love the music, and the movement is easy enough to follow. I can't wait to try the new tapes, especially the
weight lifting ones. I have to say, the Yoga
and Self Massage tape is one of my favorites. After all these years, I feel like Jodi and her
participants have become my friends. What fun we have!

Due to a back injury, I became immobile. I had zero flexibility, gained a lot of weight and I had problems standing for long lengths of time. I really had given up on ever doing any type of physical fitness activity until I found Chair yoga.
Chair yoga has changed my life. I have been doing chair yoga every morning for 4 months. I can now see a difference in my flexibility. I can stand longer and I feel great. It doesn’t matter, how old you are or your physical limitations, the Chair Yoga video works.

I fractured my knee cap, needed surgery to set it and then was in a brace for seven weeks. I used a walker and every step was very painful. Exercise is part of my life. Not only did I miss it, but I was worried that I would gain weight by being inactive. I contacted Jodi, and within a couple of days had six of her DVD"s. I did them, sitting on the seat of my walker. Since I had such a variety, I didn't get bored. I couldn't move my right leg, so all the movement was done with my left leg and two arms. Once the brace came off, I continued with Chair Dancing, and slowly the movement came back to my right leg. First, I tapped my toes, and eventually, I could lift my leg in a bent position. I was moving aerobically, and I felt I was being pro-active in my recovery.
The best part of my day was turning on the DVD and seeing Jodi. She was so cheerful and upbeat, and I looked forward to seeing her. My six year old grand daughter would join me, waving the paper plates and concentrating with everything she had. She would encourage me. I am also pleased that in being careful what I ate, and doing Chair Dancing every day helped me to lose 10 pounds over a four month period.
I am back to my regular exercise, but still do Chair Dancing about three times a week. It has become a part of my life. I enjoy them all, but I my favorites are, " Yoga", "Around the World" and "Through the Decades".
I wish more people knew how great this exercise program is. You can do it in the comfort of your home. If you have an injury or aren't able to more around easily, or simply can't get out of the house, this is invaluable.
