They’re released during pleasurable activities such as exercise, massage, eating and sex too. Endorphins help relieve pain, reduce stress and improve your sense of well-being.</p><p>Endorphins are created in your <a href="https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/body/21459-pituitary-gland">pituitary gland</a> and hypothalamus, both located in the brain. Endorphins are a type of neurotransmitter, or messenger in your body. They attach to your brain’s reward centers (opioid receptors) and carry signals across your <a href="https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/21202-nervous-system">nervous system</a>. </p><p>Endorphin comes from the words “endogenous,” which means within the body, and “morphine,” an opiate pain reliever. Put together, that means endorphins are natural pain relievers. They’re released during pleasurable activities such as exercise, massage, eating and sex too. Endorphins help relieve pain, reduce stress and improve your sense of well-being.</p><p>Endorphins are created in your <a href="https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/body/21459-pituitary-gland">pituitary gland</a> and hypothalamus, both located in the brain. Endorphins are a type of neurotransmitter, or messenger in your body. They attach to your brain’s reward centers (opioid receptors) and carry signals across your <a href="https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/21202-nervous-system">nervous system</a>. </p><p>Endorphin comes from the words “endogenous,” which means within the body, and “morphine,” an opiate pain reliever. I studied the options for bariatric surgery, and in 2008 I accidentally found the original dvd advertised and I ordered it.&nbsp;</p><p> It was so perfect for my needs, and sooo much fun!  I soon had all of the neighborhood kids from 8 yrs. old through high school, and my music students, and their moms wanting to exercise with me.  I have a small house, and could not take everyone at the same time, so the parents of the neighborhood children made a "deal" with their kids.  If they finished their homework and chores, they could come over at 5 pm and chair dance with me.</p><p>  Now, the ladies at my church want me to help them get started. I've had positive input from my therapists and doctors, who are still confused how I lost 200 lbs. and have kept it off.&nbsp;</p><p> I am trying to keep losing at least 20 more lbs. before having my heavy 40 or 50 lbs of heavy skin that still make me look fat and all the dark circles around my eyes etc.  I have overcome the need for bariatric surgery,  I LOVE helping others and the Chair Dancing Fitness &nbsp;is such a help to me!&nbsp;</p><p>  I wish I could tell the whole world how your programs are helping me!  Thank you again for encouraging me to go after the life of my dreams!  I hope you will always be a part of it.</p>]]></description>
